Frequently asked questions
These answers explain the currently published training routes and the questions candidates ask before making an enquiry. Prices, dates and provider availability must be confirmed in your individual offer. If your route is different, tell us about your plans.
Can I start pilot training with zero flight experience?
Yes. The 0–ATPL route is intended for candidates starting without a licence or logged flight time. Its six-stage sequence is PPL Training, ATPL Theory, Hour Building & Night Rating, AUPRT, All-Twin CPL ME IR and APS MCC, subject to medical fitness, assessment and the entry requirements confirmed by the training provider.
How is the programme structured?
FlyInPoland's 0–ATPL programme is modular. It is divided into individual training modules that follow one planned sequence, and you pay for each module at the start of that module rather than committing the whole programme cost upfront. When a module is finished you decide what happens next: continue, pause, or stop. There are no fees, fines or penalties for modules you have not started, and after a completed module you can continue with another ATO in the network at no additional transfer cost.
What if I already have a PPL, ATPL theory or flight hours?
You may be able to begin at the next appropriate module rather than repeat completed training. Send details of your licence, examination status and logged hours. The responsible ATO will confirm credit, prerequisites and the training still required.
Which courses are currently presented on FlyInPoland?
The pathway has six ordered stages: PPL Training, ATPL Theory, Hour Building & Night Rating, AUPRT, All-Twin CPL ME IR and APS MCC. The detailed course pages explain the full route and the grouped training blocks, alongside coaching and mentoring.
How long does the Zero-ATPL route take?
The currently published plan uses approximately 20 months as its target. Actual completion depends on the confirmed programme, student progress, examination results, weather, aircraft, instructor and examiner availability. A target duration is not a guaranteed completion date.
How much does Zero-ATPL training cost?
Indicative total (0–ATPL): €79,500. Type Rating is not part of the programme and is not included. The module figures are: 01 PPL Training - Private Pilot Licence flight training - €12,000 (Indicative); 02 ATPL Theory - 100% online ground school · 13 EASA subjects · includes KSA 100 - €4,000 (Indicative); 03 Hour Building & Night Rating - Cross-country hours toward CPL minima, plus the night rating - €23,500 (Indicative); 04 AUPRT - Advanced upset prevention and recovery training on the Extra 200 - €3,000 (Indicative); 05 All-Twin CPL ME IR - Instrument Rating, MEP, MEIR and Commercial Pilot Licence, flown twin-engine - €30,000 (Indicative); 06 APS MCC - Airline Pilot Standard Multi-Crew Cooperation on a Boeing 737 - €7,000 (Indicative). You pay per module, not upfront.
Are the individual course prices final?
No. Every module figure is indicative and no website price replaces an individual written offer. Confirm availability, tax treatment, inclusions and additional charges in the quotation and signed training agreement before enrolling or paying.
Do I need an EASA Class 1 medical?
A professional pilot route requires the appropriate aviation medical fitness. Candidates are strongly encouraged to obtain an initial EASA Class 1 medical before making a major training commitment. An authorised aeromedical examiner or centre, not FlyInPoland.com and not the ATO, determines fitness.
Do I need to speak Polish?
The training routes are presented for English-speaking candidates. The actual language of instruction and any required English proficiency must be confirmed for the chosen course and ATO. Polish may help with daily life but is not presented as a general entry requirement.
Where does the training take place?
Theory is online. Practical training is delivered by EASA-approved partner ATOs across Poland, currently in Leszno, Bydgoszcz, Poznań, Gdańsk, Warsaw and Kraków, with each stage flown where that stage trains best. After a completed module you can move to another ATO in the network at no additional transfer cost. The exact airfield, classroom, simulator and accommodation arrangements depend on the selected course and provider and are confirmed before enrolment.
Who is responsible for delivering the training?
Regulated flight training must be delivered under the approval and responsibility of the applicable EASA-approved ATO. The provider named in your training offer and contract is responsible for its instructors, aircraft, records, certificates and regulatory compliance.
Will the qualification be recognised across Europe?
Licences and ratings issued under the EASA system are intended for use within the applicable EASA framework. Employment, licence validation or conversion outside that framework - including the United Kingdom - depends on the destination authority and employer requirements, which should be checked for your intended career market.
Does completing the programme guarantee an airline job?
No. Training can prepare you for professional licensing and airline selection, but no school can guarantee employment. Recruitment depends on your results, medical fitness, language, right to work, assessment performance, market conditions and the requirements of each airline.
Can I visit before deciding?
Ask through the contact form or WhatsApp before making travel plans. The team can confirm whether a visit, meeting or facility tour is available for the course and provider you are considering.
How do I ask about a course?
Use the enquiry form to select the closest training route, coaching, or help choosing a route. Include your current qualifications and preferred timeline. Sending the form records your interest only; it does not enrol you or require payment.
How and when will I pay?
Payment schedules depend on the course, provider and signed contract. Do not rely on a general website statement as a payment instruction. Before paying, obtain the current written offer showing the contracting party, amount, due dates, inclusions, cancellation terms and bank details.
